Five Bathroom Design Ideas from the Bathwise Showroom

Inside Our Showroom: 5 Inspiring Bathroom Designs Displayed In Our Showroom - Bathwise

A showroom display is most useful when it helps you understand proportion, comfort and material combinations at full scale. These five design lessons can be adapted to rooms of different sizes and styles.

1. Build the layout around movement

Start with clear access to the basin, toilet, bath or shower. Check door swings, drawer openings and the space needed to dry, dress and clean. A product can fit on plan while still feeling uncomfortable in use.

2. Treat storage as part of the design

Wall-hung furniture can increase the sense of visible floor space, while tall units make use of height. Decide what needs to be stored near each activity and avoid oversized furniture that narrows circulation.

3. Layer the lighting

Combine general light with effective illumination at the mirror and a softer option where appropriate. The electrical plan should be coordinated early so cables, switches and bathroom-zone requirements do not compromise the final design.

4. Limit the material palette

A room often feels more luxurious when it uses fewer materials well. One principal tile, one supporting texture, one furniture finish and a coordinated metal finish can create enough variation without visual clutter.

5. Test products at real scale

Sit beside a bath, open furniture drawers, check the reach to shower controls and compare tap projection over a basin. These practical observations are difficult to judge from an online image alone.

From display to individual bathroom

A showroom scheme should inspire rather than be copied blindly. Window position, plumbing, water pressure, ventilation and the needs of the household will change the final specification. Bathwise designers can use the displays as a starting point and adapt the proportions, products and finishes to your room.
