Warmer bathroom palettes
One of the strongest directions was a move away from purely clinical white rooms towards warmer neutrals, timber textures and deeper colour. That principle remains useful: a limited palette with one natural texture can make even a compact bathroom feel more considered.

Large glass panels and simplified framing helped create lighter shower areas. The appearance depends on practical decisions behind the scenes: waterproofing, falls, drainage, access and screen stability must be resolved before the finishes are chosen.
Technology with a clear purpose
Illuminated mirrors, shower controls and concealed systems attracted attention, but useful technology should solve a genuine need. Ease of operation, servicing, compatibility and long-term support matter more than novelty.
